WMKG-TV, LLC operates WMKG-CD, an FCC Class A broadcast TV station serving Michigan’s lakeshore along US Route 31 from Norton Shores, Michigan for 27 years.  The station broadcasts 4 channels, currently on digital Channels 49.1, 49.2, 49.3 and 49.4 with channel 49.1 also being carried by Comcast cable on channel 397.  Pursuant to the spectrum “repack”, we will migrate to broadcast Channel 31 and its subchannels in the months to come.  Our mission is to promote work and play along Michigan’s scenic US 31 lakeshore.

In June 2017, the FCC granted final approval for the transfer of WMKG-CD to WMKG-TV, LLC, a portfolio company of VRVC, LLC, a virtual reality venture capital fund. Such transaction will facilitate new cutting edge equipment and other upgrades to greatly enhance viewer experience. So please check back for further announcements as upgrades are rolled out.
